  • The Technical Ambition of Virtual-Physical Fusion: MRC Metaverse Robot Unveils Breakthrough Five-Layer Architecture

San Francisco, CA, April 22, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Global metaverse technology leader MRC today officially revealed its revolutionary five-layer technical architecture, designed to achieve atomic-level fusion between virtual and physical worlds. This technological breakthrough marks a new era in metaverse development, addressing the industry pain point of “digital suspension” in virtual spaces.

“Current metaverse ecosystems widely exhibit disconnection between digital and physical worlds, limiting value exchange. Our technical architecture fundamentally solves this problem,” stated the MRC Chief Technology Officer. “By deploying a global network of humanoid robots, we are building a millimeter-precision spatial mapping system that ensures every digital interaction triggers tangible value exchange in the physical world.”

MRC’s five-layer protocol stack architecture includes hardware, data, blockchain, interaction, and application layers, forming a complete ecosystem for virtual-physical fusion. At the hardware layer, the MRC-HX8 humanoid robot features a liquid metal joint system, achieving 720-degree omnidirectional motion control freedom, a 26-fold improvement over traditional robots.

In the interaction layer, MRC has made breakthroughs with non-invasive brain-computer interface technology, reducing thought command decoding latency to below 5.8 milliseconds, far exceeding industry averages. Paired with photonic crystal holographic engines, projection resolution reaches 0.1 nanometers, achieving near-atomic level spatial reconstruction precision.

The blockchain layer employs a hybrid DPoS and PBFT consensus mechanism, with processing capacity reaching 9,200 transactions per second while keeping energy consumption below 1% of traditional mechanisms. The data layer innovatively applies multimodal encapsulation protocols, standardizing haptic, visual, olfactory, and other heterogeneous data into verifiable on-chain assets.

“Our technology is not just a redefinition of the metaverse concept, but a transformation of future human collaboration methods,” said the MRC Chief Executive Officer. “The mind-level operational precision achieved through the NeuralLink protocol makes cross-continental precise experimental collaboration possible, which will reshape collaborative models in key areas such as scientific research, education, and healthcare.”

According to MRC’s development plan, the first batch of 500,000 MRC-certified robots will be deployed by the end of 2025; expanding to 8 million by 2027; and reaching 50 million globally by 2030, covering full-scenario ecosystems across scientific research, education, industry, and consumer sectors.

Key technological milestones including quantum security protocol upgrades, brain-computer interface medical certification, and holographic engine precision improvements have been incorporated into MRC’s technology roadmap. “We believe that the virtual-physical fusion metaverse will become the most important technological revolution since the internet, and MRC stands at the forefront of this revolution,” the MRC Chief Executive Officer added.
