KD Hall Foundation Marks 10 Years of Impact with “We Have Risen” Celebration Honoring Women, Girls, and the Power of Storytelling

SEATTLE, WA – May 12, 2025 – The KD Hall Foundation, a Washington-based nonprofit advancing leadership, education, and mental health for women and girls, will celebrate 10 years of transformative impact at its public event, “We Have Risen,” on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the historic Stimson-Green Mansion in Seattle.

Founded in 2014, the KD Hall Foundation has empowered over 1,000 girls through signature programs like Girls on the Rise and the College Ambassador Program. By centering youth storytelling, mentorship, and advocacy, the Foundation has become a statewide leader in cultivating the next generation of changemakers.

Leading up to the public celebration, the Foundation will host a private event at Why Not You Academy for students closing out the Girls on the Rise program. This school-based experience will focus on storytelling, identity, and mental wellness, curated and led by the students themselves.
